GCSE Combined Science follows a modular approach where students study a range of topics that cover physics, chemistry, and biology topics. Assessment is based entirely on examination and students can hope to achieve two GCSE’s.

The modules are generally short and cover a broad range of topics such as cell biology, organic chemistry and magnetism and electromagnetism.

The single science GCSE biology and chemistry courses cover much of the same topics as the combined science course but tend to go into more depth. There are also some topics covered here that arent covered in the combined science course.
